As part of a course on instructional design principles, I developed a microlearning course using the ADDIE model. After meeting with my veterinarian to discuss issues she faced, we decided that a course on pet insurance would benefit the human clients and animal patients at her hospital. Then I conducted a survey (~150 respondents) about their knowledge and attitudes about pet insurance. The most common response was that they did not know much about the structure and options available. This course is the result of this research.
